AEROMUTABLE FEATURED IN STANFORD TOMKAT CENTER’S JANUARY INNOVATION SPOTLIGHT
Stanford, CA — January 20, 2021 — Aeromutable, an aerodynamic devices company developing an on-road fuel savings solution for semi trailers was featured in an article published by the Stanford TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy in their January 2021 Innovation Spotlight.
Since awarding Aeromutable with an Innovation Transfer Grant in 2018, the TomKat Center has long supported Aeromutable’s goals of producing an aerodynamic device that simultaneously offers the trucking industry cost savings while significantly cutting carbon emissions. “We’ve come a long way since we started the company in 2018 with the TomKat Center’s help and we are extremely grateful that the TomKat Center wanted to feature our company in their Innovation Spotlight,” said Dr. Sandra Manosalvas-Kjono, co-founder of Aeromtuable.

A Little Bit About the Stanford TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy:
The TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy was formed to foster innovative research in science, technology, and policy to transform the world’s energy systems for a sustainable future. Research at the intersection of energy with food, water, transportation, human health, and the environment is of particular interest.
A Little Bit About Aeromutable:
Aeromutable is committed to working with the trucking industry to bring aerospace technology into the day to day operation of heavy vehicles. We are focused on the design and manufacture of aerodynamic enhancement systems that increase vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency. Aeromutable has developed a non-intrusive trailer add-on system that, through dynamic air injection, significantly improves aerodynamic performance and reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions—allowing the trucking industry to increase profitability while reducing its carbon footprint.
